March 08, 2004 POLITICAL ANIMAL?....Since the word is already out, I guess I might as well confirm it: Yes, I have sold out to The Man™ and will soon be blogging for cold, hard cash. Which is pretty cool, isn't it? What's even better is that I'll be blogging for the Washington Monthly, a magazine I've admired for 20 years, ever since a conservative friend of mine introduced me to it right after I graduated from college. (He's even more conservative these days, though, so I guess it didn't have much effect on him.) Not much is going to change, though. There will be a new URL, but it's still going to be me blogging about whatever I feel like, although hopefully with more opportunity to do a bit of reporting here and there and to make a few contacts I otherwise couldn't.
