I agree about William the Conqueror.
There's also questions about the Mississippi which, as I remember, is
longer than the Nile if you count the Missouri as the main branch.

I think it's Mao's Little Red Book (which kinda makes sense with the fact that China has the highest population ;)

I got some (Amazon, Aldrin, Doby, helium), had no clue on others
(transatlantic, English King, atom bomb), but the one I had the most
trouble finding through Google was the population question. I guessed
India, but I couldn't find a proper search that gave me a corroborating
answer. Any ideas? I tried highest population, which country has the
highest population, population statistics, populations countries, and a
few others.
